CAREER OPPORTUNITY AS MANAGER, DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS ENGINEERING SERVICES UNIT (DTESU) PWF IN BPS-19

Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) is running various projects for welfare of retired employees/families of deceased employees of WAPDA, DISCOS, GENCOS & NTDC. The Foundation is looking for an individual having dynamic personality with ability/capacity to improve its efficiency.

TENURE
The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year extendable (subject to satisfactory performance) upto maximum 03 years or upto the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.

QUALIFICATION
BSC Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) from HEC Recognized University.

AGE/ELIGIBILITY
Maximum 62 years/Retired WAPDA/DISCOS/NTDC Employees with good service record.

EXPERIENCE
Four (04) years experience as Superintending Engineer / Manager in BPS-19 or above positions (CEs/GMs). Preference will be given to candidates having experience in repair and testing of Distribution Transformers.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Awareness about PPRA Rules.
• Result oriented, highly organized and motivated.
• Excellent analytical, writing, communication, technical and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant experience in consideration of job requirement.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Overall Control of Administration of all Sections of DTESU (PWF) Shalamar.
• Quality Repairing of Distribution Transformers of different capacities i.e., 10KVA to 630KVA
• Inspection of Material required for repairs of Distribution Transformers.
• Ensuring billing/recoveries regarding Repairing of Transformers of different capacities from different DISCOS.
• Suggesting PWF Management for improving the quality of Repairing of Transformers.
• Supervision of Accounts Section of DTESU (PWF) Shalamar.
• Developing Strategy by having close liaison with WAPDA, DISCOS, GENCOs and NTDC counterparts/responsible officers for having more business for PWF.
• To extend full technical support to MD (PWF) as and when required.
