JOB OPPORTUNITY

Wapda Employees Cooperative Housing Society (WECHS) Lahore is seeking the services of a qualified WAPDA Engineer (serving or retired) for the post of Secretary on contract basis.

Position: Secretary (Contract Basis on lumpsum package)

Qualification/Eligibility: BPS 20 & above (serving or retired WAPDA Engineer)
Contract Duration: Initially for one year, extendable based on performance.

The position requires the following experience and expertise:

• Experience in observing pre-contact award formalities for the execution of works.
• Drafting estimates for the procurement of works, goods and services.
• Monitoring that contracts are awarded and implemented following PPRA Rules to ensure fairness and transparency.
• Ensuring the quality of works as per plans/drawings, specifications, methodologies, procedures and engineering standards.
• Experience in dealing with administration, accounts and budgetary matters.
• Possess a good reputation and integrity.
• Experience in public dealing.
• Ability to make prompt decisions.
• Experience in coordinating with other government departments and agencies to resolve issues/disputes of the Society.
