Job Description

The Aga Khan University, Professional Development Centre, Gilgit (PDC, G) is implementing the "Quality Education through School-Based Teacher Development and Mentoring" Project in partnership with the School Education Department (SED) GB is implementing the "Quality Education through School-Based Teacher Development and Mentoring" Project in partnership with the School Education Department (SED) GB. The project is supported by the European Union and the Aga Khan Foundation, Pakistan.
Through a Consortium led by AKU with LUBISKU, KIU and Knowledge Platform, a grantee has been selected for the project "Quality Education through School-Based Teacher Development and Mentoring" in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding domicile of the specified Union Councils for the 12 positions of Male and Female Teachers for appointment in Government Schools of Gilgit-Baltistan for a period of one year from June 2025.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Candidates must be school education positions must possess the domicile of the respective Union Council (UC).
2. Candidates for the positions of Teacher and Subject Specialist must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
3. The maximum age limit for all positions is 45 years.
4. The appointment will be for a period of one year, with a possible extension based on performance and project needs.
5. The selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary package.
6. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
7. No TA/DA will be admissible for the purpose of interview.
8. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
9. The last date for submission of applications is June 30, 2025.
