The Project Implementation Unit (PMIU) SELECT, Reform Support Unit (RSU), School Education & Literacy Department (SE&LD), Government of Sindh now invites eligible individuals to express their interest in providing the aforementioned services. Interested individual consultants must provide:

Social Safeguard Specialist (PPS-10) | At least Master's degree or equivalent (sixteen (16) years of education) in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Sociology, or other related disciplines from a foreign or local university duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Additional training or certifications in World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF), Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), or social safeguards will be an added advantage. | Minimum eight (08) years of relevant professional experience in social safeguards, community engagement, grievance redress mechanisms (GRM), labor management, and compliance with World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF/ESS). Experience in infrastructure and construction projects, preferably donor-funded projects, is required. | 01 |

| * Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills | |||
| * Fluency in English, Sindhi, and Urdu | |||
| * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint | |||
| * Ability to work effectively with government counterparts, consultants, contractors, and communities | |||
| * Willingness to travel to project districts |
A detailed, dated and signed Curriculum Vitae highlighting qualifications and experience in carrying out similar assignments.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" July 2016 [revised November 2017, July 2018 & November 2020] ("Procurement Regulations"), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
The Consultants will be selected in accordance with the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the Procurement Regulations of the World Bank for IPF Borrower July 2016 Revised November 2017, July 2018 & November 2020.

Initial Contract Period upto April 30, 2026 and it shall be extendable based on the performance and requirement of the project.
