CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Chief Financial Officer/Director Finance

Power Information Technology Company (PITC) is a public sector state-owned enterprise mandated to provide IT services and technology solutions to power sector entities including DISCOS, GENCOs and NTDC, with its head office at WAPDA House, Lahore. The Company plays a pivotal role in supporting the power sector through technology-driven solutions and digital transformation initiatives. PITC is seeking the services of a highly qualified and experienced professional for the position of Chief Financial Officer/Director Finance.

Job Profile: Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer/Director Finance will be responsible for the overall financial management of the Company including financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, internal financial controls, treasury management and ensuring compliance with applicable corporate governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Academic Qualification:

• Must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants (CA/CPA/ACCA/ACMA)
• OR
• Must possess a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (minimum first division throughout the academic career) from an HEC recognized and accredited institution.

Experience
Minimum twelve (12) years of post-qualification relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial management, or auditing, including at least three (03) years in a similar senior financial management role in a medium to large scale private sector organization.

• For Public Sector/SOEs
  • a. a member of organized body of professional accountants with at last five years relevant experience, in case of SOEs having total assets of five billion rupees or more; or
  • b. Holding a master's degree in finance related disciplines from a university recognized by the HEC with at least ten years relevant experience, in case of other SOEs.

The candidate should possess strong knowledge of financial management, corporate governance, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

The position is based at Lahore, however the incumbent may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan. It will be a contract appointment for a three-year term, extendable subject to requirement and performance. The maximum age limit is up to 55 years on the closing date of advertisement. The position carries a competitive and attractive market-based remuneration package.
