VACANCIES
Applications are invited from eligible candidates having domicile of Sindh province for the following posts in the Directorate General of Public Libraries Sindh, Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department, according to the educational qualifications and experience specified against each post, within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this advertisement.

i. Graduate with at least second division from an HEC recognized university. <br> ii. Certificate in English Shorthand Writing and Typing from an institute recognized by Sindh Board of Technical Education or SBTE/STEVTA. <br> iii. Speed of 120 words per minute in English Shorthand and 35 words per minute in Typing, respectively. <br> iv. Certificate in MS Office from an SBTE recognized institute. |
i. Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Graduation Category and Matric Category with at least 40 marks conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) and possess its certificate issued by STS, as required for appointment to the said posts.
ii. The age of applicants who applied for the test before the announcement of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024, dated October 16, 2024, will be calculated from the last date of application submission, i.e., 30.11.2021. The upper age limit will be 15 years. However, for those applying after the announcement of the above rules, the 15 years relaxation and age calculation will be according to the Government of Sindh notification of the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department.
iii. The share of quota reserved for initial appointments will be implemented according to the policy of the Government of Sindh.
iv. Applicants who are already in government service should obtain an NOC at the time of the interview to be submitted before the Departmental Selection Committee.
v. Appointment will be made according to the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and its rules, as amended from time to time, and the policy notified by the Government of Sindh.
vi. Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
vii. Applicants must appear before the Departmental Selection Committee with original documents for the interview according to the schedule uploaded on the job portal.
viii. No TA/DA will be given for the interview.
