POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT VICE CHANCELLOR
The Government of the Punjab, Livestock & Dairy Development Department is seeking highly accomplished, qualified and motivated professional for the position of Vice Chancellor in the following public sector university:

Essential Requirements
The Vice Chancellor shall be the principal executive and academic officer of the university; would promote teaching, research and Publications; and ensure excellent administration and efficiency of the university. The applicant should:
- Not be more than sixty-five years of age on the last date fixed for the submission of applications.
- Have Ph.D. Degree from HEC recognized Institution.
- Have experience in a senior academic, research or management leadership position.
- Have experience of working in a well-reputed international organization/academic institution (teaching/research/management) at a relatively senior position.
- Have demonstrated capability for mobilization of financial resources from national/international agencies.
- Have demonstrated/documented experience of establishing new organizations or restructuring existing organizations/ departments.
- Have distinguished research and publications record.
- Have earned Civil Awards.

Term of Appointment & Salary
Vice Chancellor shall be appointed for a term of four years and serve at the pleasure of the Chancellor. The incumbent will be entitled for maximum salary of a Professor on Tenure Track System, as per approval of the Government.

- Certified copies of CV/educational certificates/degree/diploma.
- Details of certified teaching and administrative experience in the form of Experience Certificate duly issued by the concerned Registrar/Admin Office/HR Office. Notifications of postings shall not be accepted.
- List of HEC recognized research publications. Certified copy of 1st page and index of recognized journals.
- Details of certified administrative experience.
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly highlighting all elements of eligibility criteria & personal attributes. It should start with the title of the First Degree, Grades, the name of the Institute/College and the University.
- Three recent Passport size photographs.
- The applications of the interested professionals on the prescribed proforma, along with the supporting documents and Resume, should be addressed to the Secretary, Livestock & Dairy Development Department/Secretary of the Search Committee, Livestock Complex, 16-Cooper Road, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Seven extra copies of filled in prescribed proforma only must also accompany the main application. The application, complete in all respects and supported with all documents, must reach the Livestock & Dairy Development Department not later than 21.01.2026 (Wednesday) before closing of the office hours. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. All the applicants shall have to appear for interview in person. No interview will be allowed through video links i.e. Skype/WhatsApp etc., except for those candidates who are currently employed abroad.
