- The University is known for broadcasting its online lectures and rigorous programs regardless of the physical location of its students. It is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan).
- The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, and Information Technology. Due to its reliance on the Internet for lecturing, Pakistani students living abroad also enroll in university programs.
- Since its inception in 2002, V.U. has expanded operations with more than 190 related institutions nationwide to support student infrastructure.
- There are two types of virtual university campuses. First of all, it has its campus called its offices. Its head office is located in Lahore. The other is called Private Virtual Campus (PVC), run by private organizations known as affiliated campuses.
- The V.U. is hiring the services of an Assistant Instructional Designer, DHQ-University Coordinator, General Operator, Lightman, Electrician, Network Manager, Network Administrator, Assistant Network Administrator, and Office Support Staff.
- Candidates across the country may apply for these employment opportunities. This appointment will be made on a contract basis. The selected candidates can be placed for duty anywhere in Pakistan.
