Applications are invited from qualified and experienced Advocates for engagement as Legal Advisor of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology, Dera Ghazi Khan, for a period of two (02) years, in accordance with the Punjab Local Government Legal Advisor Rules, 2003, and the Standing Instructions of the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of the Punjab, vide letters No. Gen:2-1/2008/1941 dated 14.05.2011 and No.SO(ADMN-III):Misc/2025/1100 dated 17.03.2025.

Legal Advisor (Hight Court/Local) |
i. The candidate must possess an LLB degree along with a valid license to practice as an Advocate.<br>ii. The applicant must be an enrolled Advocate of the High Court under the Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act, 1973 (XXXV of 1973).<br>iii. Must have at least ten (10) years of active practice as an Advocate of High Court immediately before the last date fixed for the receipt of applications.<br>iv. Must possess sound knowledge of laws relating to educational institutions, service matters, contracts and administrative affairs.<br>v. Those having experience of working as Legal Advisor with public sector/autonomous organizations shall be preferred.<br>vi. The engagement shall be on a part-time basis for a period of two (02) years, as per government instructions. |
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
i. The applicants already applied for this post in response of IPL No.6102 dated 10-11-2025 need not to apply again. However, they can submit updated CV/Resume in Registrar Office without additional fee before closing date.
ii. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from university website.
iii. Remuneration shall be paid on a case-to-case basis in the light of the approved rates fixed by the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of the Punjab.
iv. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,500 shall be deposited in favor of the Treasurer, Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology, Dera Ghazi Khan, Account No. 0010129513090057, Allied Bank, Main Branch, Dera Ghazi Khan. The original deposit slip must be attached with the application.
v. Interested candidates meeting the above criteria may submit their applications along with: Detailed CV/Resume, Attested copies of CNIC, law degree(s), High Court enrolment certificate, and experience certificates.
vi. Candidates already in service of Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by closing date; otherwise, their applications shall not be entertained.
vii. The University reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
viii. Applications received through Registered Mail/Courier shall be considered. By hand applications will not be accepted.
ix. Applications complete in all respects must reach the office of the undersigned on or before 29-04-2026 (Wednesday) before closing hours. Incomplete or late applications shall not be entertained.
