Students, enrolled for M.Phil. degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular biology/ Microbiology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics or relevant fields) in any University recognized by HEC, and completed their course work, are required for undertaking research on some aspects of the project. They must have knowledge of Dynamic Programming in sequence alignments, Bio.Seq package), Needleman-Wunsch Algorithm for global sequence alignment, Smith-Waterman Algorithm for local alignment, Scoring matrices, Observed frequency matrices, PAM matrices, Multiple Sequence Alignments, Progressive Alignments, Centre Star Algorithm, Profile Alignments, FASTA algorithm, Python Language, Medical Image Analysis, Preprocessing, Segmentation, Edge Detection, Post Processing, Deep Learning for Medical Images (CNN), Machine Learning (Random Forest, SVM, K-mean, KNN) |
