The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is an autonomous body established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961. ICAP strives to promote professional excellence, provide the best services to its stakeholders, and safeguard the public interest.
1. MANAGER – INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT (KARACHI)
Reporting to: Head of Investigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complaints against members/students according to applicable laws; prepare agendas and working papers for Investigation Committee meetings.
- Gather facts and information to present cases of professional misconduct.
- Support the implementation of decisions made by the Investigation Committee.
- Perform other duties assigned by the head of the department.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAP Member), preferably with 1 year of post-qualification experience.
- Strong skills in report writing/drafting, analysis, communication, and management.
2. MANAGER – EDUCATION & POLICY (KARACHI)
Role: Responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and improvement of ICAP’s education framework, ensuring alignment with international standards and market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and review of ICAP’s education schemes and curriculum.
- Support the development and timely availability of study materials, coordinating with subject experts.
- Lead education-related initiatives.
- Provide secretarial support to committees (preparing minutes/working papers) and ensure follow-up.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- A Chartered Accountant (ICAP Member) preferably with 1 year of post-qualification experience OR a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, or related discipline from an HEC-recognized University with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of professional education frameworks, curriculum development, and academic program management.
- Excellent analytical, research, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
