JOB OPPORTUNITIES
The Policy Research Unit at FPCCI Head Office in Karachi is looking for professionally competent, dynamic, and self-assured professionals for the following positions on a one-year contract basis. However, on satisfactory performance the contract may be extended or converted into regular employment.
SENIOR RESEARCHER - TAXATION AND BUSINESS COMPLIANCE (01)
a. Shall be a CA/ACCA qualified candidate with at least 05 years of working experience with reputable audit or tax advisory firms, or
b. Shall be a PhD/MPhil/MS from a reputable university in Economics, International Trade, and Business with at least 05 years of research experience in fiscal, taxation policy, preferably 03 years in a senior role.
c. Work closely with FPCCI's member Trade Organizations to assess taxation and business compliance related challenges and develop actionable policy recommendations.
d. The ideal candidate shall demonstrate strong expertise in taxation frameworks, fiscal policy design, tariff structure, compliance requirements, and public finance reforms, with proven experience in understanding relevant national and international taxation laws.
Salary: Rs. 250,000 inclusive of benefits
SENIOR RESEARCHER - SECTORAL ECONOMY (01)
a. Shall be a PhD/MPhil/MS from a reputable university in Economics, Development Studies, Gender Studies, or Business Administration, with at least 05 years of research experience, preferably 02 years in a senior role in a reputed organization.
b. Capable of policy research on various sectoral businesses and trades i.e. textiles, pharmaceuticals, leather, steel, sports goods, food and livestock, chemicals, agriculture, etc.
c. Work closely with FPCCI's member Trade Bodies, SMEs, etc. across Pakistan to assess challenges and develop actionable policy recommendations.
d. Strong analytical and policy-writing skills are desirable, familiarity with datasets and publications from PBS, SBP, FBR, World Bank, IMF, International Indices etc.
Salary: Rs. 250,000 inclusive of benefits
RESEARCHERS (05)
a. Shall be a MPhil/MS from a reputable university in Economics, International Trade, and Business.
b. Have at least 02-03 years of research experience in a reputed organization.
c. Research experience in sectoral businesses, district economy, taxation, business compliance, climate change, and understanding of data sources released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), Trademap, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Federal Board of Revenue, Finance Division, IMF, World Bank, etc.
Salary: Rs. 120,000 - Rs. 150,000 inclusive of benefits
GRAPHIC DESIGNER (01)
a. Shall be a Bachelors/diploma from a reputable university.
b. Have at least 03-04 years of designing work in a publishing house or research institute.
c. Candidates should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), have a strong sense of layout and visuals for magazines/reports.
d. Possess ability to translate complex research concepts into visually engaging infographics and report design.
e. Experience in designing reports, data visualization, and digital media content will be preferred.
Salary: Market Competitive
