1. Appointment Criteria for Medical Consultants
Candidates must meet either Pakistani or international training standards:
- Trained in Pakistan: Must have completed a formal postgraduate program, awarded an FCPS (Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan), and completed a sub-specialty fellowship.
- Trained Internationally: Must have MRCP (UK), FRCS, or American Board certification (where applicable), plus at least three years of experience in a Western institution.
