Job Description & Responsibilities

Head of Internal Audit

Minimum Qualification: CA / ACMA / ACCA / M. Com or MBA (Finance) from HEC recognized university/institution.

JOB PURPOSE: Chief Internal Auditor of the Company will be responsible for leading the internal audit function, providing independent and objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the Company's operations. The role involves bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Grade/ Level: AVP / VP

Experience: Minimum 08 years post qualification experience in Internal Audit department of Insurance, Accounting or related sector.

Governance, Risk Oversight, and Strategic Direction: * Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive internal audit strategy and annual audit plan, aligned with the Company's strategic objectives and risk profile. * Provide assurance to the Board of Directors (BOD) and senior management on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control processes. * Present audit findings, recommendations, and reports to the Audit Committee (AC) of the Board of Directors with clarity and objectivity.

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years at the time of application.

Internal Control and Compliance: * Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across all business functions, including finance, operations, IT, and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Ensure compliance with all applicable Pakistani laws, regulations (SECP, FBR, SBP, etc.), and internal policies and procedures. * Monitor regulatory changes and communicate their impact on the Company.

Risk Management: * Assess and evaluate the Company's risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring processes. * Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure risks are appropriately identified, assessed, and managed effectively and efficiently. * Monitor the Company's risk exposure and report significant risks to senior management and the AC.

Operational Efficiency and Effectiveness: * Conduct operational audits to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and recommend improvements. * Evaluate the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information. * Assess the safeguarding of Company assets.

IT Audit and Data Security: * Oversee IT audits to assess the effectiveness of IT controls, data security, and compliance with IT policies and procedures. * Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Company data and systems.

Investigation and Fraud Prevention: * Conduct investigations into alleged fraud, misappropriation, or other irregularities. * Recommend controls to prevent and detect fraudulent activities.

Reporting and Communication: * Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to senior management, the AC, and the BOD, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations. * Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders, including external auditors and regulators.

Head of Retail Sales

Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Insurance/BBA/MBA from HEC recognized university/institution.

JOB PURPOSE: The Head of Retail Sales of the Company will be responsible for leading the retail sales function, developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets, expand market reach, and drive revenue growth in the retail segment. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Grade/ Level: AVP / VP

Experience: Minimum 08 years experience in sales/marketing, preferably in the insurance sector, out of which minimum 03 years in a similar role in retail channels.

Sales Strategy and Planning: * Develop and execute a comprehensive retail sales strategy, including target setting, market segmentation, and channel management. * Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for retail insurance products. * Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Sales Management and Performance Monitoring: * Lead, motivate, and manage the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives. * Monitor sales performance metrics (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed. * Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
