Applications are invited from candidates holding a Local/Domicile of Balochistan (falling within the territorial jurisdiction of Pakistan Railways, Quetta Division) to fill the following vacancies on a contract basis for a period of two years. Successful candidates will undergo prescribed training and must be declared medically FIT by the Divisional Medical Officer, Quetta.

AGE LIMIT:

1. 18-25 years + 05 years general relaxation + 03 years (Specific additional relaxation for candidates from Baluchistan) (Total: 33 years age in lieu of relaxation only will be calculated as of the closing date of the advertisement).
2. Ex-Service Men: Upper age limit relaxed by the years of service or 15 years, whichever is less.
3. Scheduled Castes / Buddhist Community: 03 years additional relaxation.
4. Govt. Servants (02 years' service) 10 years additional relaxation (Apply through proper channel).
5. Son of Deceased Railway Servant: 05 years additional relaxation.
6. Where a candidate is entitled in more than one category specified above he/she shall be allowed relaxation in age in only one category.

DOMICILE (Eligible Districts):
Candidates belonging to all districts/tehsils of Balochistan/Quetta Division can apply.

RECRUITMENT QUOTA:

• Open Merit: 60%
• Son of Railway Employee (Retired/Service/Deceased): 20%
• Ex-Service Man: 10%
• Orphans/Minorities: 10% (05% each)

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
The following attested documents must be attached:
a. Educational Certificates (Middle/Matric 2nd Division).
b. CNIC and Local/Domicile Certificate.
c. Character Certificate.
d. Four (04) passport-size photographs with white background.
e. For Railway Quota: Service Certificate along with verified copy of Railway Card duly attested by a BS-17 officer or above.
f. Four (04) registered postal envelopes with complete home address and mobile number.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION:
i. MR worth Rs. 550/- (non-refundable) in favor of Divisional Personnel Officer, P.R. Quetta must be submitted with applications.
ii. Mailing Address: Applications must be sent via Registered DAK, Courier to:
DIVISIONAL SUPERINTENDENT, PAKISTAN RAILWAYS,
QUETTA DIVISION, ZARGHOON ROAD, QUETTA.
iii. Applications may also be submitted in Divisional Superintendent Office Pakistan Railways, Zarghoon Road, Quetta during office hours between 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
iv. Deadline: 15 days from the date of this publication, applications submitted after due date/or incomplete cannot be entertained.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• The applications can be downloaded from Pakistan Railways website. Forms can also be obtained from the Office of Divisional Superintendent, Pakistan Railways, Quetta.
• Candidates may apply for more than one post separately (use separate envelopes).
• Clearly mention the Post Name, District, and Quota on the top right of the envelope.
• Only those candidates will be shortlisted who pass the requisite running test i.e. 01 KM to be completed in 05 minutes.
• Contractual Nature: The appointment is purely on a contract basis for two years. It does not confer any right to regular appointment or seniority. Extension depends on satisfactory performance and department requirements.
• Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must undergo a detailed Medical Examination by the Divisional Medical Officer (DMO), Pakistan Railways, Quetta.
• Local Status: Only candidates holding a valid Local/Domicile Certificate of Balochistan (relevant districts of Quetta Division) are eligible. Any candidate found holding dual domicile or a domicile from another province will be disqualified immediately.
• Security Clearance: Final appointment is subject to verification of academic degrees, character, and security clearance from relevant agencies/police.
• Training: Successful candidates will be required to complete the prescribed training course at the Pakistan Railway Academy or designated training centers.
• Transfer/Posting: The selected employees will be liable to serve anywhere within the territorial limits of the Quetta Division.
• Application Rejection: Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Incomplete applications or those without the required Postal Order, MR will be rejected.
• No TA/DA: No Traveling Allowance or Daily Allowance will be paid for appearing in tests or interviews.
• Departmental Rights: Pakistan Railways reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigned reasons.
• False Information: If any information or document provided by the candidate is found bogus/fake at any stage (even after joining), the contract will be terminated, and legal action will be initiated.
