Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways, Headquarters office, Lahore for appointment/ engagement of Retired Supervisory Staff of Carriage & Wagon and Mechanical Loco Department on contract basis for a period of one year from suitable retired employees (retired on superannuation i.e. 60 years of age) as posts mentioned against each subject to physical fitness.

AGE LIMIT:- Maximum age limit shall be 62 years.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CONTRACT APPOINTMENT:-

1. Only those retired employees who have worked on above category will be eligible for contract appointment.
2. The selected retired employees will draw their salary BS-06, BS-09, BS-11, BS-12 & BS-14 according to their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, admissible under the contract appointment rules. However, they will not be entitled for any kind of distribution towards gratuity and pension.
3. Period of contract one year should be extendable further for one year, if required by Pakistan Railways.
4. The Competent Authority has the right to reject any application for contract appointment without assigning any reason.
5. Number of posts can be changed without assigning any reason.
6. Selected retired employees will be required to pass medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital only.
7. Those who retired compulsory removed dismissed or retired on Medical Ground will not be eligible for appointment.
8. Shortlisted retired employees will be issued call letters.
9. No TA/DA will be paid to retired employees called for interview and Medical examination.
10. The selected retired employees will be posted anywhere in the entire Railway System.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:-

Application must be accompanied by the attested copies of the following Necessary Certificates and testimonials:-
a) All educational certificates
b) National Identity Card (Computerized)
c) Railway retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate
d) Photocopy of PPO
e) Photocopy of LPC
f) Service Certificate
g) Three (03) fresh passport size photographs
h) Three (03) postal envelops (with RAD card) and complete address Cell No. written thereon also be sent (linked) with application

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:-

Typed application along with complete biodata thereon will be acceptable.
Interested retired employees are directed to submit their applications to "Chief Personnel Officer Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore" but not later than 20 days after publication of this advertisement in newspaper otherwise it would not be entertained.
Processing fee amounting to Rs.1000/- for each application must be deposited at CCT Cash Office, Lahore, all Station Masters and Booking Offices of Pakistan Railways. Its Miscellaneous Receipt (M.R) should be attached with each application.
