CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Manager Procurement and Contracts
This role is responsible for managing the PCB's procurement activities and contract management processes to ensure cost-effective, timely, and compliant acquisition of goods and services.
ABOUT PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is engaged in promoting and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan and maintaining general control of the game.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or LLB from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in procurement, contract management or legal practice.
- Must include at least 5 years of experience working with or providing services to Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, and handling legal and regulatory compliance related to procurement or public sector projects will be preferred.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of contract law, PPRA Rules, and public sector procurement frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High standards of ethics, transparency, and accountability.
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach to multitasking.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement and contracting strategies aligned with PCB's objectives.
- Manage sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contracting processes across diverse categories.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, PPRA Rules, and applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer commercial and legal contracts with suppliers, consultants, and service providers.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and manage supplier and service contracts to ensure performance, value, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor performance.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operational teams to ensure alignment of contractual obligations with PCB's objectives.
- Maintain a central repository of all procurement and contract documents to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
