VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
MEMBER TECHNICAL, KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA MINES & MINERALS APPELLATE TRIBUNAL GOVERNMENT OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA MINERALS DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
The Minerals Development Department Peshawar invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Member Technical, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Appellate Tribunal, to be appointed for a period of three years or at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority as the case may be, according to Rule 3D (1) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals appellate Tribunal Rules 2022. The candidate, according to Rule 3A of the rules ibid, must fulfill the minimum of the criteria as mentioned below;
THE CANDIDATE MUST:
I. Possess at least a 1st Class Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering (from a recognized university).
II. Have a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in the field of mines and minerals.
III. Be a domicile holder and bona fide resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The term & Conditions of the Member Technical are given in Rule 3D of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Appellate Tribunal Rules 2022, and shall be as follows:
I. The Member Technical shall hold office for a period of three (03) years at the pleasure of the Chief Minister.
II. The Member Technical shall be entitled to such salary, allowances and privileges as are admissible to a civil servant in BPS-20.
III. The Member Technical may resign from his office on one month's notice or in lieu of one month's salary.

PROCEDURE FOR APPOINTMENT
According to Rule 3C of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Appellate Tribunal Rules 2022,
I. Applications shall be submitted to the office of Secretary, Minerals Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
II. The Mineral Department will examine the applications and short list the candidates.
III. The list of the shortlisted candidates will be placed before the Scrutiny Committee constituted under Rule 3B of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Appellate Tribunal Rules 2022.
IV. The Committee shall interview the shortlisted candidates and recommend a panel of three (03) persons to the Appointing Authority.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
I. Interested candidates may submit their applications along with the following:
I. Detailed CV.
II. Copies of academic and professional documents duly verified from the degree/certificate awarding institutes.
III. A reference letter from the supervisor or the controlling officer under whom the candidate last served.
IV. Experience certificates issued and attested by the concerned entity/organization.
V. CNIC and domicile certificate.
VI. 02 recent passport-sized photographs affixed with the application.
VII. A certificate from the candidate affirming that no criminal or disciplinary proceedings are pending against him and that he has not been convicted by any court during or after his service.
II. Applications complete in all respects shall reach the office of the Secretary, Minerals Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.
III. Applications received after due date and applications with incomplete information & lacking any or all testimonials shall not be considered.
IV. Unclaimed qualification and experience as well as claimed but without supporting documents/documented proof will not be considered and accepted.
V. Mentioning of wrong information by candidates will be declared as "Concealment of Facts" which will result in disqualification of the candidate at any stage of recruitment or post recruitment as the case may be with penal consequences.
VI. The upper age limit of the candidates shall be governed as per the Govt Policy circulated vide No.SORIII (S&GAD) 9-6/90(KC), dated 30.01.2001.
VII. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
VIII. No TA/DA shall be admissible.
