ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE REQUIREMENT OF DRIVER AND SEWER MAN (WORK CHARGE)
Under the Government of Punjab Local Government & Community Development Department Lahore's letter No. SO.ADMN-II(LG)Misc/2025 (Machinery) dated 20-12-2025, the District Council Multan requires drivers and sewer men on a work-charge basis according to the details and conditions below. Terms and Conditions:
- Drivers and sewer men will be appointed temporarily on a work-charge basis for the period specified by the government. The appointment period will be mentioned in the appointment letter. Upon completion of the period, their temporary appointment will be considered automatically terminated, for which no separate notification will be issued. Wages will be paid only on the basis of work according to the rates fixed by the Government of Punjab.
- The candidate must be a resident of Multan district. However, local candidates will be preferred for staff to be posted in the tehsils of Shujabad and Jalalpur Pirwala.
- It is mandatory to attach 2 passport-size photographs, attested copies of the ID card, and copies of the required qualification certificates according to the post eligibility with the application.
- The candidate must be healthy and fit.
- Experienced candidates who have previously performed this type of duty and whose performance has been good will be preferred.
- The decision of the selection committee will be final and cannot be challenged in any forum or court.
- No separate call letter will be issued for the interview/physical test. Original documents must be brought at the time of the interview/physical test.
- The complete application in all respects must be submitted to the office of the District Officer (I&S) District Council Multan by mail or by hand by 20-12-2025. Applications received after the due time will be rejected.
- The interview/physical test will be held on 30-12-2025 at 11:00 AM at the office of the District Council Multan. No separate letter will be issued for this purpose, nor will any TADA be given for this purpose.
- A list will be prepared on the basis of the applications received, which will be valid for one year. Temporary appointments will continue to be made from this list on a temporary basis according to the instructions received from the government.
