CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) PEDO

PAKHTUNKHWA ENERGY DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (PEDO)

GOVERNMENT OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA, PAKISTAN

Energy & Power Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites applications from suitable dynamic and competent professionals for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), PEDO. The appointment shall be for a period of three years or at the pleasure of government as the case may be. The Candidate must have requisite qualification, experience and age as mentioned below:

Requisite Qualification, Experience and Age limit for the post is as under: -

A. Person from Open Market.

1) Minimum Qualification: At least First-Class Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical/Mechatronics, Civil Engineering or at least First-Class Master's Degree (16 Years of Education) in Management Sciences, Natural Science or Law from a recognized university or Institute.
2) Have at least fifteen years' experience in the field of Energy, Engineering, Law, Administration or Finance in terms of Sub Section (3) of Section 9 of the Act, out of which five years' experience shall be at the Top Management Level.
3) The relevant experience shall be in a government, semi government, Autonomous Organization or in Private Sector bodies of National and International Level.

B. Retired Government Servants.

4) Government Servants who have retired in BPS-20 or above and have the relevant fifteen years' experience in the field of Energy, Engineering, Law, Administration or Finance in terms of Sub Section (3) of Section 9 of the Act.

Domicile: The candidate shall be a citizen of Pakistan and preference will be given to the resident of the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Age: Maximum Age limit is 62 Years on the closing date of submission of Application form.

Salary, Perks and Privileges: The Chief Executive Officer shall be entitled for market-based salary, compatible to the experience and qualification of the selected candidates to be negotiated with the candidate at the time of appointment and approved by the Policy Board.

• Duly filled & signed Application form (Form-A) along with attested copies of all the documents/testimonials, experience certificates updated CV/resume, copy of CNIC, 02 Passport size photographs and other supporting documents to be sent to Secretary Energy & Power Department at the address mentioned before the closing date of application.
• Applications complete in all respects must reach the office of the undersigned not later than July 28, 2025.
• The Application form (Form-A) along with mention documents to be sent by registered courier company. By hand Applications, those received after due date and applications with incomplete information & lack of testimonials will not be considered at all.
• Unclaimed qualification and experience will not be accepted/counted. Claimed Qualification and experience without supporting documents/documented proofs will also be not accepted/counted.
• Clearly mark the position applied for in the Subject line/Envelope.
• Only Eligible/Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. Shortlisting shall be carried out on the basis of selection criteria duly approved by the PEDO Board.
• Government/Semi Government employees shall send their applications through proper channel.
• Selection of Project/Contractual and regular employees already working in PEDO in the ongoing developmental projects or against regular positions shall be subject to No Objection Certificate (NOC) from CEO PEDO.
• Candidates are instructed to mention correct information while filling the application form.
