MANAGER RETAIL CATEGORY & SPONSORSHIPS
Job Scope:
Responsible to manage overall Retail Category strategy, optimizing product positioning, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability and revenues. Manages category budgets and performance while leading initiatives to enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing plan and lead its proper implementation with the Category team across channels.
- Manage Sponsorships by driving brand linkage through Digital branding, Branding installations and Event/Venue branding initiatives.
- Oversee Sponsorship related Events and initiatives are carried out efficiently and effectively, delivering results and minimizing costs.
- Analyze market trends and insights to identify opportunities and threats, and develop strategies to ensure competitive advantage.
- Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns of the Retail Category, promoting PSC as a market leader.
- Ensure competitive pricing and promotions with existing agencies (e.g., PR, shopper marketing agencies, etc.) and create a positive brand image.
- Oversee country brand marketing channels to drive future sources of growth and develop brand communication strategy based on consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Lead in creation of brand, place, promotion, (people, and presentation) marketing mix across portfolio, using them as the building blocks for marketing strategy.
- Ensure competitive and personalized customer experience.
- Continuously evolve marketing plans to changing market and competitive realities, as well as add new opportunities to align to customer needs.
- Manage a full marketing budget including budget responsibility, review of growth management strategy, research and insights generation, and overall marketing performance.
- Manage and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using insight-driven data against agreed KPIs.
- Undertake any other tasks or functions as required by the management.
Education:
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Master's from a renowned and HEC recognized university or an equivalent foreign degree from a recognized institution, preferably in Marketing, Communication or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience, preferably in a large local/multinational organization.
Requirements:
- Strong brand positioning and consumer insights.
- Translate brand strengths into plans and go-to-market strategies.
- Oversee ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Age: The incumbent should be less than 35 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
