GOVERNMENT COLLEGE WOMEN UNIVERSITY FAISALABAD VISITING FACULTY REGISTRATION

Applications are invited for the appointment as Visiting Faculty in the Government College Women University Faisalabad, from qualified, motivated, innovative, committed professionals in the following disciplines:

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Visiting Assistant Professor:

Eligibility Criteria for the appointment of faculty in all disciplines other than Engineering, Information Technology, Computing Sciences, Law and Art & Design

• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Eligibility Criteria for the appointment of faculty in Engineering, Information Technology and Computing Sciences

• Minimum Qualification & Experience: Ph.D Engineering or Information Technology or Computing or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Visiting Lecturer:

Eligibility Criteria for the appointment of faculty in all disciplines other than Engineering, Information Technology, Computing Sciences, Law and Art & Design

• Minimum Qualification & Experience: MS or M.Phil. (First class) in the relevant discipline or Equivalent qualification from an institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Note: An applicant having third division in academic career shall not be eligible, however, such applicant having the degree of Ph.D. in the relevant field and has not more than one third division in the entire academic career shall be eligible for the post.

Eligibility Criteria for the appointment of faculty in Engineering, Information Technology and Computing Sciences

• Minimum Qualification & Experience: MS or M.Phil. (First class) in Engineering or Information Technology or Computing or equivalent qualification from an institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Note: An applicant in these disciplines, having a third division in academic career shall not be eligible.

Terms and conditions:

i. Bank Draft Rs. 2000/- in the name of Treasurer, Government College Women University Faisalabad (original) shall be enclosed with the applications. ii. Three (03) most recent passport size photographs should be affixed to each application. iii. Registration will be valid for (02) Years (i.e. Fall 2025 to Spring 2027). iv. Candidates are required to submit three (03) copies of the Bio-data form (which is available on the website) along with complete attested testimonials, CNIC, domicile & experiences (if any). v. Final Selection will be based on the recommendation of the interview committee. vi. Candidates having Previous Teaching experience will be preferred. vii. The university reserves the right to refuse any candidate without assigning any reason. viii. Candidates who have already registered for visiting faculty positions under IPL No. 10544 with last date 28-12-2023 & IPL No. 38 with last date 27-01-2025, and IPL No. 1871 with last date 16-06-2025 (and its corrigendum) do not need to apply again. ix. Candidate must forward/submit their applications directly to the Registrar's Office (Academic Branch, Registrar Office) GCWUF before the Closing date: 09-10-2025 at 02:00 pm. x. No TA/DA would be admissible to appear in the interview. xi. Passing the NTS/GAT subject test is mandatory. In the case of Non-NTS / GAT (subject), the University Departmental test will be conducted for further processing. xii. Both Female and Male candidates are eligible to apply.
