i) BDS or equivalent Dental qualification recognized by PMDC with following post-graduate qualifications: Ph.D, M.D.S (P.A), M.Phil. OR recognized and registered by PMDC in the respective basic subject. ii) Equivalent postgraduate qualifications recognized by PMDC in the respective basic subject. AND 05 years teaching experience in the relevant subject in a recognized Institute as an Assistant Professor and Five Research Papers as Principal Author published in a standard medical/dental journal.

Associate Professor of Science of Dental Material (1-Post)

i) BDS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC with post-graduate diploma in the respective subject recognized by the PMDC with 05 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a recognized institution and five Research Papers as Principal Author published in a standard medical/dental journal. OR BDS or equivalent Dental qualification recognized by PMDC with following post-graduate qualifications: M.D.S / M.Phil in the respective basic subject. OR Equivalent postgraduate qualifications recognized by PMDC in the respective basic subject. AND Provided that preference will be given for original teaching experience and credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal. AND 05 years teaching experience in the relevant subject in a recognized Institute as an Assistant Professor and Five Research Papers as Principal Author published in a standard medical/dental journal. ii) If no such candidate with the above qualification is available, then; BDS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC with post-graduate diploma in the subject recognized by the PMDC with 7 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the respective subject in a recognized institution. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal.

Associate Professor of Operative Dentistry (1-Post) / Assistant Professor

i) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC with post-graduate qualifications viz. M.D.S in the subject recognized and registered by PMDC with 3 years teaching experience. AND ii) 05 years teaching experience in the relevant subject in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor or equivalent position and credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal while working as Assistant Professor. OR Equivalent postgraduate qualifications recognized by PMDC in the respective basic subject and five Research papers published in a standard medical/dental journal. iii) If no such candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available, then; a) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC with post-graduate diploma qualifications in the relevant subject as recognized by the PMDC, and b) 3 years teaching experience in the relevant subject as Demonstrator in a recognized institution. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal. AND 5 research papers published in a standard dental/medical journal while working as Assistant Professor.

Associate Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (1-Post) / Assistant Professor

i) BDS, FCPS, MDS or equivalent qualification from University recognized by the HEC and possesses a valid registration from PMDC. AND 05 years teaching experience in the relevant subject as Assistant Professor or equivalent position recognized by the PMDC and five research papers published in a standard dental / medical journal while working as Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor of Science of Dental Material (1-Post)

i) BDS or equivalent Dental qualification recognized by PMDC with following post-graduate qualifications: M.D.S / M.Phil in the respective basic subject. OR Equivalent postgraduate qualifications recognized by PMDC in the respective basic subjects. AND MDS / MPhil in the allied subject. Provided that preference will be given for original teaching experience and credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal. ii) If no such candidate with any of the aforesaid qualifications is available, then BDS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC with post-graduate diploma in the subject recognized by the PMDC and 3 years experience as Demonstrator in the subject in a recognized institution. Credit will be given for original research work. iii) If no such candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available, then BDS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC and 5 years experience as Demonstrator in the subject in a recognized institution recognized by PMDC.

Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry (1-Post)

i) BDS equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC with postgraduate qualifications recognized by PMDC with four years teaching experience (duration) in Pediatric Dentistry in Institution recognized by PMDC.

Assistant Professor of Periodontology (1-Post)

i) BDS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC with postgraduate qualifications in Periodontology recognized by PMDC. OR FCPS/DM/MDS(Diplomate American Board)/Ph.D(as two years duration) in Pediatric Dentistry in Institution recognized by PMDC with four years teaching experience (duration) in Pediatric Dentistry Institution recognized by PMDC. ii) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC with postgraduate qualifications in Periodontology recognized by PMDC with four years teaching experience will be preferred and credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal. iii) If no such candidate with the after said qualification is available then; a) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC with postgraduate minor diploma recognized by PMDC with 5 years teaching experience as Demonstrator in the subject in a recognized institution. Credit will be given for original research work published in standard medical/dental journal; b) If no such candidate with the after said qualification is available then provided that at least 5 research papers published in a standard medical/dental journal.
