VACANCIES

Applications are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in Sindh for the following posts in the Narcotics Control Wing of the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, Government of Sindh, within thirty (30) days of the publication of this advertisement, according to the required qualification and experience against each post:

General Conditions:

1. Applicants who meet the above conditions must apply for the above posts on the Government of Sindh job portal at https://sjp.gos.pk.
2. Applicants must have successfully passed the Graduation Category General Screening Test conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with at least 40% marks and possess the result slip/certificate issued by STS, as required for appointment to the above posts.
3. The age of the applicants will be calculated according to the policy/relevant rules issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, Government of Sindh.
4. The share of quotas reserved for initial appointment will be observed according to the rules/quota policy of the Government of Sindh.
5. Candidates will be called to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee and/or Physical Fitness Evaluation Committee (as the case may be) for tests in strict compliance with the latest rules/policy/SOPs issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, Government of Sindh.
6. Applicants already in government service should obtain an NOC from their department before submitting the application and bring the original copy of the NOC at the time of the interview/physical test to present to the Departmental Selection Committee/Physical Evaluation Committee.
7. Appointments will be made under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and the rules framed thereunder as amended from time to time.
8. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee for interviews along with original documents according to the schedule uploaded on the Government Job Portal.
9. The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
10. TA/DA will not be admissible for the interview/physical test.
