PUBLIC NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF MALI (GARDENER)

Applications are invited from candidates for the following posts in the District Council Okara. Recruitment to these posts will be made on a temporary basis (89 days) as per requirements. Recruitment to these posts will be carried out under the work charge as per the criteria specified in the Schedule of Wages Rates in accordance with the instructions received from the Government of Punjab via letter No. SO.ADM-II (LG) 6-4/2025 dated 02-01-2026.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Salary will be according to the Wages Rates issued by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.
2. An age relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit will be given. Experienced candidates will be preferred.
3. All appointments will be made according to the policy for work charge formulated by S&GAD.
4. Appointment is purely on a temporary basis for 88 days and will automatically expire upon completion of the period, with no right to permanent employment.
5. Candidates can submit applications on plain paper along with a copy of their ID card and educational certificates to the following address via post or by hand in this office. It is mandatory for the candidate to be a resident of Okara district.
6. All applications will be received by post or by hand until 4 PM on 07-02-2026 at the Superintendent Office, District Council Okara.
7. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
8. Interviews will be held in this office on 10-02-2026 at 10 AM, for which no separate intimation will be given.
9. Candidates coming for the interview must bring their original ID card and educational certificates.
10. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates coming for the interview.
