The office of the District Council Khanewal requires applications from interested advocates for the following position, as per the instructions of the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Punjab, Legal Advisor Rules 2003.

Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a High Court lawyer.

- Applications must be received by the undersigned office during office hours by August 11, 2025. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be considered. Certified copies of degrees/certificates, enrollment documents from the relevant Bar Council, and experience certificates must be attached.
- A copy of the application along with attached documents must also be sent to the Secretary, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Punjab, and the Secretary, Local Government & Community Development, Punjab.
- The tenure of appointment for the said position will be a maximum of two years. The appointment and other matters will be subject to the Legal Advisor Rules 2003 and the approval of the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Punjab.
- Scrutiny of documents and interviews for candidates will be held on August 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM. No TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for this purpose.
- The proposed monthly honorarium/remuneration will be a maximum of Rs. 25,000 per month, subject to the approval of the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Punjab. A monthly report on cases must be submitted to the office of the District Council Khanewal. The performance of the Legal Advisor will be reviewed every 3 months. In case of unsatisfactory performance, action will be taken for premature termination of the appointment.
- Advocates with experience in higher judiciary will be preferred.
- The Legal Advisor will be responsible for representing all legal matters and cases related to this office in Civil & Sessions Court, Labor Court, and High Court.
